The focus here is an "internet community dedicated to Vajrayāna Dharma". Does that mean we non-vajrayana types will be confined to the Sutra section?

How welcome or not is the topic of general Mahayana? After all, is not tantra just fast track Mahayana with a greater emphasis on special form building?

Perhaps the General Buddhism forum has it covered, but I for one don't oppose accommodating your idea.

Hi Will. Mahayana discussion is most certainly welcome here. Upon discussion with Malcolm and Marcos, the "General Buddhism" discussion forum is a space where Mahayana topics can be discussed. And of course, the Sutra forum welcomes Mahayana discussion as well.

Good to hear Ben; perhaps adding a phrase to the Vajracakra Welcome concerning Mahayana (but not Theravada?) would be clarifying.

Any Dharma can be discussed here, whether Hinayāna, Mahāyāna or Vajrayāna.

I've added this as Malcolm mentioned in the "Welcome to Vajracakra" thread in "News & Announcements".

It would be great if you added some threads Will.

I am sure a lot of people would enjoy reading them.

A subforum specifically for Indian Buddhism would be useful instead of having such topics bundled in with the general Mahayana questions.
