I guess this is mainly a question for Loppon Malcolm.

I saw a pre-order for The Self-Arisen Vidya Tantra (vol 1) and The Self-Liberated Vidya Tantra (vol 2): A Translation of the Rigpa Rang Shar (vol 1) and A Translation of the Rigpa Rangdrol (vol 2) on Amazon. Will this only be in hardback, or can we expect other formats? Knowing this might help people like myself who are considering pre-ordering the text.

Thanks!

excellent news.

on the Amazon page it lists Jean-Luc Achard as co-translator. that's interesting and i'd be curious to know how that worked and was organised.

Well, that's a mistake by Amazon. JL just wrote a preface, that's all; the rest is entirely Malcolm's work, all by himself.

I thought as much.

The person at wisdom in charge of adding entries to amazon erred, wisdom has been informed and it will be corrected in due course. That said, I am incredibly grateful to JLA for his kindness in endorsing my translation, and also to Tulku Dakpa, who has also been incredibly kind. Other endorsements, equally kind, will be forthcoming.

Congrats again Malcolm! Very good news.

The only problem I have now that I have been exposed to your and JLA's translations is that all the others don't really cut it anymore. So, keep up the great work and one day translations of all the important texts might be on my shelf/shrine.
